Together We Grow - Our Allotment Gardening Club
Our Allotment Gardening Club is based within a working allotment site, in Swanley Kent, It is for families of neurodivergent children, to come together and enjoy being in nature, whilst learning to grow their own food.
We meet twice a week, you are welcome to attend on either or both sessions.
Our sessions are
Tuesday's and Saturday's 1pm - 3pm
So what do we do at our gardening club?
There is lots to do at our gardening club and families of all ages and sizes, get to be hands on. With activities such as;
watering,
weeding,
digging,
planting,
seed sowing
craft,
harvesting,
caring for nature,
friendship,
community
and so much more.
We share all harvest between attendees and any unwanted surplus goes to support the local food cupboard too.
How much does it cost?
Our club is free to attend, but attendees are invited to make a voluntary contribution should they wish, which helps cover costs of the basic refreshments we provide.
How do we join the allotment gardening club?
If you are a family and would like to either find out more, or join our project, please do email Kertrina at [email protected] or apply HERE, we have limited spaces so application is essential.
